Getting around
There’s an extensive and regular bus service which operates around the island. It’s roughly a half hour connection between the major resorts, including many of the popular beaches. The buses run in the summer months from around 7am – 10pm; there’s even a disco bus running from midnight until 6am for the all night ravers out there on a Ibiza stag do!
If you’re staying on the San Antonio Bay part of the island, it’s really easy to access San Antonio’s vibrant west end nightlife by ferry boat. Ferry boats operate from various docks along the bay, and run from the morning through to the evening with the last service setting sail around 11. It’s only a few euros each way and a great way to take in the sights from the waterline.
There’s a large taxi rank situated near the main promenade of San Antonio, and you’ll be able to get home pretty reasonably if there’s a few of you. Obviously if you’ve gone to one of the super clubs out in the sticks, then your taxi fare home will be considerably more!
Remember, we’re happy to organise your transfers to and from your hotel, so all you have to worry about is how much sangria you want to drink!
Tips and ideas
There’s plenty of gorgeous sandy beaches on the white isle to discover, however take it from us, we know some of the best beach hotspots around, and thoroughly recommend grabbing a boat to Cala Conta if you’ve got a spare few hours. Here, you’ll be greeted by soft sands and crystal blue sea. Don’t worry though; you’ll still be able to cool down with a chilled beer, as there are several bars and eateries nearby.
Heading to the sunset strip on an Ibiza stag do and watching the iconic Ibiza sunset as you relax with a drink whilst you’re here is an absolute must. Café del Mar is one of the most treasured parts of Ibiza, and we say it’s definitely worthwhile making time to head here for a quick drink before you embark on your evening of bar crawls and clubbing.
Do be aware that if you’re heading to one of the big clubs, the drinks will be pricey; even the bottled water is around 10 euros, and it's for a small one at that. So if you’re feeling the need to hydrate a little before the next round, get your water from one of the late night supermarkets for a fraction of the price.
Nightlife
The nightlife in Ibiza is simply out of this world. From the chilled karaoke bars and cool eateries in San Antonio Bay and wild and crazy bars across the pond in San Antonio to the hottest celebrity haunts in Playa d'en Bossa, we can be sure of one thing; you certainly won’t be denied a good time whilst you’re on this incredible party island!
