Extreme Night in Prison
When you go on your stag weekend, you might be interested in the more extreme experiences that are on offer, such as a prison experience. Across some of our locations, we have some immersive and real life events that will give you and your group the experience of what Prison might be like. If you didn't aleady know of course. From staying in an old soviet prison in Riga filled with the ghosts of the criminals that went before, to an Immersive experience in some of the UK's Biggest Cities overseen by real prison wardens watching your every move. We'll make sure your group are kept on their toes at all times, and the Stag is truly put through his paces. This is not for the faint hearted!
Now generally in our experiences, the kind of Riga stag dos that end up in a Latvian prison are the ones that have gone very, very wrong (or very, very right). But if you’re on the lookout for a totally unique stag opportunity that you’re unlikely to forget any time soon then why not voluntarily subject yourself to an overnight prison experience?
Your group will be picked up by your guide and taken to a former Russian military base and prison. Here you’ll be interred as prisoners, subjected to medical assessment, interrogated and put through your paces at inmate exercise. After that your group will be set loose to occupy original prison cells and locked up for the night.
This isn’t an activity for everyone, but certain groups of lads are guaranteed to have a laugh. And one thing’s for sure, it’s certainly gonna be memorable.
The Details
What's Included:
This is a truly unique overnight experience and well worth the time spent. Your group will be picked up by your guide, to travel to a disused Russian military base and prison building that went out of service ten years ago, when the Russian army withdrew from Latvia. Until then it was used by the Russian navy to detain sailors for various crimes committed during their active service. The prison still has all the facilities and equipment in place.
On arrival you and your group will be subject to a search and medical assessment, photographed to produce original prisoner registration cards (mailed out to you later) and then interrogated. The activity is operated by some of the original staff and involves doing push-ups, jogging wearing gas masks, a lot of shouting and a fair bit of pushing around! Once done, your group will be left to occupy original prison cells, either locked up for the night or left open to wander about with some lager. An optional 3am drill is available for those who are tempted!
In the morning you will be taken back to your accommodation after a definite night to remember.
