Leeds is a northern powerhouse who's buzzing nightlife is only matched by the number of fun activities you can do during the day.
Often described as a Gamma World City, Leeds has come a long way since it was a market town in the Middle Ages. Now considered the commercial heart of the West Yorkshire Urban area, it is also one of the best cities to visit for shopping and for the night life. Sounds like a perfect recipe for a Leeds stag do!
This of course makes it an ideal destination for your stag weekend, with over 120 bars and just under 30 clubs, you’ll have no trouble finding an establishment to suit yourself and the rest of your stag group. There is plenty to keep you entertained during the day too, from paint-balling to tank driving, and clay pigeon shooting to bubble football. You’re not going to get bored during a stag weekend in Leeds.

There are various modes of transport that you can take to get around Leeds on your stag weekend. In terms of getting to the city, you’ll find that Leeds main train station is well served from the North and South which makes travelling to and from Leeds by train an easy option. Once you’ve arrived, Leeds CityBus is a great, cost-effective option for venturing around the city during the day. In the evening, it might be best if you travelled by taxi as this will allow you more time and flexibility in where you would like to go and when.
Leeds is a vibrant city that is bursting with fantastic activities that are perfect for a stag weekend. This is a location that is certainly not short of the activities that prove to be favourites amongst stag groups. From Go-Karting to a Clay Pigeon, Quad Trek and Archery Experience, the options are endless if you’re an active group. Instead, you might like to try the increasingly popular option of an Escape Room. The idea is to solve the riddles and puzzles inside in order to find the secret key and get out of the room as fast as possible.
If you have a few hours spare, Leeds is a brilliant place to shop and Thornton’s Arcade is a great place to stop by. You’ll find that the shops are different from the high street norm which might make for some good souvenirs to take back home.
If you’re a football fan, you could take a trip to Leeds football stadium. It might be a good idea to plan your trip to coincide with a fixture and catch a match if you can. Due to the location of Elland Road, you may find that unless you have a car it’s slightly more difficult to travel to, especially if you’re planning on getting back to the centre of town. If you’d prefer to actually play a form of your favourite sport, then you might want to book the hugely popular, and extremely fun, Bubble Football or Footgolf.
Leeds is well-known for its buzzing nightlife with plenty of cool, unique bars for the whole group to enjoy. We’d recommend heading to the famous Call Lane area which is usually extremely popular in the evening. Don’t worry about getting hungry, we can organise a delicious meal for you so your stomachs will be sufficiently lined in preparation for the night ahead. If you fancy enjoying a drink and strutting your stuff on the dancefloor, we’d recommend heading to PRYZM which has multiple dance rooms and a well-stocked bar, we can also arrange a booth package for you and the lads to enjoy! If the group fancies something a little friskier, then we can help you out there too with Lap Dancing Entry! Inside the venue, there will be private booths in case you want to treat the stag to a private dance as his final last send-off gift.
