Getting to Oxford couldn’t be easier and it is well served by road and rail. Once in the city you can either explore on foot or you can use a cab for longer journeys. The city is full of interesting sights, so you can take in more walking on foot, or even by finding a place to rent bikes.
Cowley Road is a more colourful part of Oxford if you fancy seeing another side to the city. You’ll find plenty of bars and live music venues down that way too. The entire city is beautiful, with its whimsical, old buildings. You can’t travel to oxford and not walk around, it really is breathtaking. The city has also received Hollywood credibility, as both Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland have been filmed on its cobbled streets.
Oxford offers plenty of different options for nightlife, if you’re looking for popular clubs there are more than enough to keep you occupied for the weekend, such as The Bridge and Lava & Ignite, while the Duke of Cambridge is the city’s oldest and most popular cocktail bar. Seek out the Malmaison and enjoy a drink in unusual surroundings, it used to be a prison, giving a rather quirky edge!
