Wine Tasting
We know you’re on your stag do, but there’s only so much beer that can be consumed. Sometimes you’ve had your fill and you want something a little more… refined. You get to master your merlots and survey your sauvignons in one of the most sophisticated stag activities around. And just think, women love a man who knows his way around the world of wine, so bone up as much as possible and later you can put your new knowledge to the test with the local ladies or current lover.
Instructors will take you through your wines, you’ll learn how to look at wine, how to smell and take in the scents and of course, you’ll get to do plenty of the most important part – the tasting. Across your tasting or tour you’ll pick up many tricks of the trade which won’t just improve your appreciation of vino – it’ll give you long lasting knowledge that you can take home with you. No more worrying about which bottle of plonk to buy, because you’ll be an expert.
Don’t worry about it being a stuffy affair; your wine tasting is a great way to have a laugh together with your mates. At the end of the day, it’s all about appreciating alcohol, and we’re sure that’s something that you can get behind.
Does the groom know his Pinot Noir from his Riesling, his Gamay from his Sangiovese, or maybe he just enjoys a cheeky tipple and wants to learn about the different wines. Not all stag weekends are absolutely manic and 100 miles per hour the whole time, we have an increasing number of calmer activities booked, especially if the groom is over the age of 30, while wine tasting is one of the fastest growing activities we book.
In this Amsterdam course, you will have a full 1.5 hour workshop, run by a wine expert who will talk through 3 different wines which you will all get to taste. There will also be some small bites served to stop you all getting too peckish.
A wine tasting booking is a great activity to allow people to drink without it losing control too early. You can order a bottle of wine at the end, but remember you might have to drink it that night if you're just packing a rucksack to take home on the plane.
