Blackpool Transport

You can grab most travel tickets from PayPoint outlets, on board the bus itself, or alternatively, you could download the Blackpool Transport app and purchase on there. And the good news? There’s a bunch of ticket options available, including single trips or a 3-day pass - perfect for seeing everything you want on the big weekend.
If the buses aren’t your thing, then there’s a tram system that's recently been upgraded with a £100 million investment. These trams offer an authentic and enjoyable way to travel in the city. The new models run alongside the heritage tramcars, preserving the historic charm of the experience.

Parking in Blackpool
If you’re thinking about driving to Blackpool for the stag do, then you’ll want to know about the parking situation! Good news, there’s a decent range of car parks in the town that offer short and long-stay options. The two largest car parks in Blackpool are Central Car Park and Talbot Road multi-storey car park.
We’d always recommend using one of the car parking sites such as JustPark or Your Parking Space to easily book your space in advance, saving you the hassle of finding an available space on the day!

Whereabouts are your Blackpool stag hotels located?
We've been organising Blackpool stag weekends since 2004, and consequently we've developed outstanding relationships with many stag-friendly hotels across the city. Our hotel partners are always happy to welcome well-behaved groups of lads, and we've also been able to negotiate great-value room rates. We have a fantastic range of stag accommodation across Blackpool to suit all budgets, and as a rule it is no more than 10-20 minutes' walk from the main nightlife areas around the promenade. So you can get into town at night, and back to your beds in the early hours of the morning, with no difficulty.
Do you offer Blackpool stag accommodation with parking?
Yes, a number of the hotels we work with have secure parking for their guests available. It's usually on a first-come first-served basis with limited spaces, so do let us know early on in the booking process if you think you'll need a few spaces. Remember that there are several public car parks around Blackpool too, and that the resort is easily accessible by train.

Absolutely. We know that not everyone is looking to spend big bucks, so if we know your budget we can help with accommodation to match. And don't forget that even our least expensive hotels will still offer a good standard of comfortable accommodation, conveniently close to central Blackpool. For groups on a tight budget, we recommend looking at our Blackpool stag packages, as these include all the basics of a good weekend and represent excellent value. Naturally you can add extra activities if you want.
Is our booking protected?
If you book a package with us, your stag do booking is fully protected, as The Stag Company is a member of ABTA, the Association of British Travel Agents. Please note however that this does not cover any of your transport arrangements such as flights or train tickets.
Do your Blackpool stag packages include accommodation?
Almost all of our stag packages do include two nights' accommodation, along with a selection of activities, meals out and club entry. Where they don't, it's clearly shown. Each package varies so take a look and get an idea for which is the best fit for your group. How do we book?
Head to the website and start building a package based on the groups requiremets, this doesn't have to be set in stone at this point, but if you submit the quote one of our dedicated event planners will be in touch to disucss details further. Once you are happy with the proposed itinerary details we will require a £50 deposit from the person making the booking. . Remember that the earlier you book, the more choice you'll have, and that May to September are peak travel dates. Within 14 days, we then need each member of the group to pay a minimum £30 deposit via our bespoke online payment system to secure their places. This saves the organiser the hassle of chasing people up for their money, as everyone takes care of their own account. Final balance needs to be paid at least 42 days prior to your Blackpool weekend.
When is the best time of year for a Blackpool stag do?
Blackpool is at its best, and liveliest, during the summer months. July and August the resort gets absolutely rammed with partygoers and there is a brilliant atmosphere, but of course many accommodations do fill up early so you need to be quick off the mark. While it's a lot quieter and colder in winter, these months can still be a great time for a stag weekend, as the city is lit up by the famous Blackpool Illuminations. You probably won't be spending much time in the sea though!
