Archery in Bristol
If you fancy yourself as a bit of a Robin Hood character, and you’re interested in practicing your aim and fire with your group of merry men, then we definitely recommend that you get a session of archery booked in for your stag weekend. It’s an ancient sport which dates back many centuries, and although you may think it looks like an easy activity, archery requires a steady hand, in addition to copious amount of concentration; so it’s essential that you pay full attention to your instructor, who will give top tips on how to perfect your technique, a quick demonstration and a safety briefing featuring those all-important do’s and don’ts. Get ready for your competitive streak to emerge amongst your group of stags and see who will be the first lad to hit a bullseye. We offer archery sessions across a whole host of popular destinations across the UK, so you’ll have a whole load of choices to pick from. So, pick up your bow and arrow, and get ready to get fired up for one memorable stag activity – and let us tell you now, there’s certainly no chance of firing blanks with this one!
Archery Experience
Our ancestors relied on this noble sport to fend off enemies. So why not add a touch of tradition to your Bristol stag weekend itinerary and try out this ancient field sport, which will test your hand eye co-ordination like no other. If you’re inclined to overdo things the night before, we suggest a late morning, or even an early afternoon start. There’ll be an instructor on hand to show you the basics, from how to handle and hold your bow right through to tips on getting your aim as accurate as possible. Once you get going you’ll be loading and shooting like a pro, eager to outdo your fellow stags. Watch as your arrow flies through the air and hits the target head on – or not! But don’t worry if things are not quite going to plan, our instructor is there to help you hone your technique.

Xtreme Archery
There may come a moment, where you’re the last man standing; where the arrows are raining down on your head, that you wonder why you signed up for this. Then you remember it’s a Bristol stag do and you’re having an absolute blast playing the newest craze to hit the market.
Best described as a blend of paintball – except with bows and arrows – and dodgeball, Xtreme archery has quickly become a favourite at The Stag Company. You and the guys will step into the full Xtreme Archery gear and get unleashed on a battlezone, complete with tons of obstacles and objects to duck, dip, dive and dodge behind. The rules here are like dodgeball – if you get hit with one of the soft-tipped arrows - you’re out! But if you manage to catch one of these projectiles, you get to bring a team-mate back into the game. Admittedly this assumes that you didn’t drink way too much on a night out and your reflexes aren’t what we could call… slightly dulled.
It's an absolute rush as you battle to be crowned the winners, and if you are the last team standing you’ll get bragging rights for the rest of your Bristol stag.

What's Included:
A mixture of Dodgeball and Archery, this is the new 'must' for an Adrenalin packed Stag weekend. Your instructor will explain the rules of the game and get you all set up for the Battle-to-end-all-Battles! You will be provided with the following equipment to use:
Bow x 10 and Arrows x 35;
Helmets x 10;
Barriers x 5;
Suitable Bibs and/or clothing in the typical Xtreme manner, with colours to suit each team.
