Brussels Transport
Travelling to Brussels is pretty quick and straightforward. Generally, most people will opt for direct flights, which are readily available from various UK airports such as Birmingham, Bristol, London Heathrow, Manchester, and Edinburgh. Regular, daily flights are offered here, providing convenience and choice for stag groups looking to head to this capital city. Flight time wise, it takes just over an hour from London Heathrow and up to 1 hour and 35 minutes from Edinburgh.
Alternatively, you could hop on the Eurostar from London St Pancras International and make your way across The Channel on a high speed train service - the journey is direct, typically taking just under two hours. The Eurostar will arrive in the city centre, at Brussels-Midi/Zuid train station. For those stags seeking a bit more of an adventure and fancy driving over, then why not consider the Euro Tunnel? You’ll need to take the Le Shuttle service from Folkestone, Kent to Calais, France, which takes around 35-minutes. From here, Brussels is just over a two hour drive - perfect for taking in the sights and exploring!
Whichever way you get to Brussels, you’ll be pleased to know that this city boasts a reliable and efficient public transport network to get you from A to B. With trams, buses, trains and a Metro service available, you really will be spoiled for choice when it comes to travelling around. It’s slap bang in the centre of the action and is pretty reasonable when it comes to pricing. Another option is Central Station Brussels Car Park, which again, is conveniently located for stag groups looking to park up.
One thing we would recommend is using a website such as OnePark or ParkBee to reserve and book your space ahead of time. It’ll provide peace of mind knowing that you’ve got your space sorted and there’ll be no stress trying to find somewhere to park on the day.
