White Water Rafting Experience
Stag dos are fantastic for doing activities that you’d never get to try otherwise, and great for activities that get you out of your comfort-zone. White Water Rafting is a fantastic activity for a close-knit bunch of mates because you’ll have to work together; after all it’s you against the elements with only a paddle and a raft to your name. And if you don’t work together? Well your outdoor adventure will be a lot more wet than wild (and not in a good way!).
Our white water rafting experiences offer challenging rapids all across the globe – but what they have in common is expert instruction. Novices need not worry as you’ll be crashing through the waves like an expert in no time. Supervisors will be on hand throughout to ensure that when you inevitably fall into the water you’re totally safe and back on your white knuckle adrenaline junkie experience in no time.
White Water Rafting is fun throughout for you and your lads, but it might not be the best activity around if you’re all feeling a little fragile and sorry for yourselves after the previous night’s fun. That said, there aren’t many better hangover cures than blasting through some freezing cold water. It’s sink or swim!
This is a seriously awesome activity to add to your Cardiff stag do. Feel the thrill of descending the rapids in an experience that will see your adrenaline levels peaking. It’s so much fun and the venue is known for running well-orgnanised sessions of this extreme sport with great kit, facilities and professional instructors.
Once you get there, you’ll be welcomed by the staff, who will show you to the changing facilities where you climb into your wetsuits. Then you’re taken down to the waterfront and talked through the rules of the activity and what is expected of you as a team. Next up, you’ll familiarize yourselves with the raft that will take you on the thrilling ride of your lives. There are various sizes of craft, so you’ll be in the best one for your group. After you climb in the raft you run through a few safety measures on how to move in and around the raft. The safety briefing so you can all feel confident in the upcoming high-speed water adventure ahead.
Then it’s time to use your paddles to deal with the river hydraulics that you’ll come up against over the white water course. It’s such as buzz as you don’t know what’s coming up next! You usually get to go down the rapids five or six times over the two-hour session, and believe us, as soon as you get to the bottom, you’ll be itching to do it all over again. The instructors are used to large groups and will make sure your stag party has a blast! Working together and dealing with risk as a team, you’ll find yourselves bonding over this intense activity. The venue has a café that sells food and drinks if you get hungry, and there are showers if you want to use them afterwards. Come on, ride the rapids!
