Lisbon Stag Do Accommodation
The weather is beautiful, the food is scrumptious, the activities are brilliant and it's also not a tourist trap, we can see why you opted for Lisbon! But the next step is booking the hotel or apartment and, unfortunately, this is incredibly hard for stag parties, as most venues will turn you away if they realise you're on a stag weekend. But don't worry, this is where our team come in, only working with venues that have agreed beforehand to allow this.
Lisbon Transport
Sunny, cultural, and full of vibrant bars and clubs, it’s easy to see why Lisbon is such a popular destination for a stag do! As with any new place, but especially in a new country, it can be a little confusing (and daunting!) trying to figure out the best ways to get around the city. Happily, though, Lisbon has plenty of transport options, so you’ve got nothing to worry about.
The best way to get around efficiently, we’ve found, is to take the metro. With plenty of guides and maps both online and in the station, you’d have to make a concentrated effort to get lost. The first train of the day runs at 6:30am, and the last train leaves at 1am, so you’re never going to be short of chances to make your way around the city. There are plenty of different ticket options, but a single ticket is only €1.65 (£1.43!), so it’s a demonstrably inexpensive way to get around, which is always great to know!
The most cost-effective way to get around the city, however, is definitely with a Viva Viagem card. Available to purchase both at the airport or at the metro station, this handy little green card is the perfect way to tap on and off of various types of public transport around the city. You can use it on the metro, buses, ferries and trams, whilst topping it up at the various machines around the city. For the most stress free and budget friendly way to see the sights of Lisbon, this is our top recommendation!
If you’re looking for a more unique way to get around whilst taking in the sights of the city, why not hire out some E-Bikes for the day? Available at various different locations throughout the city, all you need to do is to download the Gira app from the App or Google Play store in order to unlock your bikes. 24 hour passes start from €10 (£8.64), so this is another fairly cost-effective way to get from destination to destination!
Parking in Lisbon
As public transport is so readily available in Lisbon, we wouldn’t necessarily recommend hiring a car to get you around. However, we also understand that public transport isn’t always as accessible as we’d like it to be, and you may well want to explore a little further out of the city during your stay, too!
If you do decide to hire a car, we’d recommend making sure your accommodation includes a parking space, whether it's at a hotel or apartment. Parking can be a little tricky to locate, as well as being rather expensive, and you don’t want to add any extra stress or spend unnecessary money (especially when you could be spending it on a few drinks!)
If you do ever need to park in the city, we’ve found the best way to get around this is to book a parking space in advance in one of the car parks. To do this, check out websites for parking in the area. You’ll be able to compare locations of car parks, prices and securely book your car into a spot. The best bit is that there’s no time limit on how long you can park for, either, so you can enjoy a full day out in Lisbon without having to worry about hurrying back!

If you’re looking for something super affordable but still in the thick of the city, why not head to one of Lisbon’s many hostels? Offering shared rooms or private suites, these are a great option for when you’re going to be mostly out and about seeing the sights and jumping between bars and clubs and simply need a comfy bed to get a few hours kip before you’re off out again!
If you’re willing to splash a little more cash and fancy a bit more comfort, Lisbon has plenty of hotels in the city centre and a little further afield to satisfy your groups’ needs.
