Gdansk Stag Do Accommodation

Now that you’ve decided on Gdansk for your best mate’s big weekend, it’s time to figure out which accommodation will suit you and the rest of the stags best. Luckily, this Baltic city is packed with great places to stay, from budget-friendly hotels to more luxurious spots and even spacious serviced apartments.

Most of the options offered by The Stag Company are right in the heart of the action, so you’ll never be far from the cobbled streets of the Old Town or the buzz of Gdansk’s unbeatable nightlife.

Wherever you end up, you can expect a warm welcome, an easy check-in, and a solid base for exploring one of Poland’s most stunning party cities. With endless stag-friendly restaurants, activities and nightlife at your disposal, not to mention a sandy beach within easy reach, you’re set up for a stag weekend that delivers sun, shots and shenanigans in equal measure.

Gdansk Transport

One of the best things about Gdansk is how easy it is to get around on foot. But if you don’t fancy walking, want a beach day or need to go a little further afield, there are many ways to get around, including public transport, taxis and private transfers.

Buses

Gdansk has a reliable bus network that covers the whole city and its surrounding areas. They’re cheap, frequent, and a great way to get to attractions a bit further out from the centre.

Trams

Trams are another convenient way to zip around the city. Fast, efficient, and easy to use, they’re perfect for hopping between the Old Town, the waterfront, and nightlife hotspots without breaking the bank.

Taxis

If you’re after a taxi, you’ll be able to hail one easily from the street or by ordering one from one of the many taxi companies in Gdansk, such as Neptun Taxis or Hallo Taxis.

Ride-sharing services

For a quick and easy way to get from A to B, you can book a ride-sharing service online. In  Gdansk, there are a good few options available, including Uber, Bolt, and Freenow. Just download the app, book your ride, and you’re good to go!

Private transfers

Private transfers come highly recommended and are a great option for stag groups of all sizes. They’re especially handy for airport pick-ups, and will collect you and the rest of the lads straight from the airport, before whisking you off to your accommodation. Sure, the public transport is cheap, but if you want to get the fun started right away, booking a private transfer in advance is your best option.

Parking in Gdansk

While most stag groups won’t need a car in Gdansk thanks to the city’s compact centre, cheap taxis, and the abundance of buses and trams, we know a few adventurous stag crews might still fancy hiring a set of wheels. Whether it’s yourself or there’s another designated driver in the group, read on, as this section is filled with plenty of useful parking tips and facts.

Street parking in the city centre is limited and usually metered by day, and while some hotels may provide parking (either complimentary or chargeable), this isn’t always the case. We know that you’ll want somewhere safe to park your car, so with that in mind, your best bet is to opt for commercial or secure car parks for peace of mind. These facilities are generally open 24/7, are well-lit, and monitored, so they’re ideal for keeping your vehicle safe while you enjoy the weekend.

If you’re driving or have hired an electric vehicle, there are a fair few EV charging points dotted around the city, with most situated in or near major car parks. This is a great option, as you’ll be able to get your car charged up, while carrying on with your day.

One of the most important things to remember if you’re driving in Gdansk is to book your parking in advance. Honestly, leaving it until the last minute to hunt for a decent spot is a recipe for stress, so save yourself the hassle and get it sorted before you travel.

In short, a car isn’t really necessary for a stag do in Gdansk (unless, of course, you’re planning a road trip). Public transport is plentiful, private transfers are affordable, and taxis and ride-sharing services like Bolt are never hard to find.

Types of Accommodation

When it comes to sorting your accommodation in Gdansk, there are plenty of options available in this affordable city, with something to suit every group – whatever your style! Whether you’re after somewhere basic but comfortable, need plenty of space for you and the lads to spread out, or want something a bit more luxurious, we’ve got a brilliant choice for your upcoming weekend.

Affordable Accommodation

If you’re looking for a crash pad in Gdansk that keeps things wallet-friendly, fear not. The city has some excellent budget and mid-price spots that don’t compromise on comfort. Expect friendly staff, clean rooms, solid facilities, and a central location, so everything you need is right on your doorstep. With most attractions and nightlife just a short stroll away, you’ll save plenty on transport. Affordable accommodation in Gdansk is often surprisingly modern and stylish, and with trusted names like Holiday Inn and Hampton by Hilton, you know you’ll be in good hands.

Luxury Hotels

If you’re treating the groom or simply want a room with more luxurious amenities, Gdansk’s higher-end hotels have you covered. Expect features like elegant rooms, river views, modern spas, excellent restaurants, and polished service. These hotels make a great base if you want a nice blend of celebration and relaxation. These properties are also centrally located, so you’ll have zero trouble when it comes to exploring the nightlife and getting a taste of Polish culture.

Serviced Apartments

Possibly one of the best options for larger stag groups? We certainly think so! Serviced apartments in Gdansk offer loads of space, and often feature shared living areas and handy kitchen facilities. They’re perfect for pre-drinks, whipping up late-night snacks, or simply relaxing on the sofa ahead of the big night out.

You’ll find everything from stylish loft apartments to practical modern flats in the centre. Plus, keeping everyone under one roof makes managing the group so much easier. With options like the Baltic Gdansk, Montownia Lofts & Experience, and Neptun Aparthotel, you’re in for an absolute treat.
