Glasgow has a compact city centre, meaning it’s easy to explore on foot (bar hopping essential, because a pub crawl is an essential to all stag do's), and see the sights...Oh yeah, you probably should see a few sights before you get too messy. If you are feeling a little more adventurous, you can hire a push or electric bike as the city has a fantastic cycle scheme. All you need to do is download the app ‘Nextbike by TIER’ to get involved.
The subway service is also excellent and runs every four minutes during peak times with a single costing just £1.85. You can navigate all of the 15 underground stations in just 24 minutes! You can also opt for a bus with First Bus, which operates over 80 routes across the city with day tickets allowing unlimited travel. The company also operates an express service from Glasgow airport to the city centre, the journey time is just 15 minutes. Perfect for any overseas stags making the pilgrimage to party.

Obviously being as far north as possible the temperatures will tend to be a bit cooler, but hey after a few drams you won't feel it right? The majority of stag weekends in Glasgow take place during the summer months, where you can expect it to be around 17-18C during the daytime and 11c in the evening. That's the average for June, July and August, but if you break the usual pattern and head for a Spring or Autumn stag do, then you can certainly expect it to be a bit more chilly (we won't delve into Winter).
Oh absolutely, the nightlife is used to big groups while there are so many venues to pick from, all of which are accustomed to stag parties. The locals are friendly and you can always have a great chat with pub landlords, who are amazing at offering local advice. The selection of activities is constantly expanding, while there are also a number of activity bars which keep opening up in the area, meaning your activities can take place while drinking and you don't have to travel miles out of the city centre to have fun during the day. We would recommend you book in advance with ourselves for venues to ensure you're not disappointed, as it can be hard to secure bookings with a big group and we have pre-arranged agreements in place with numerous venues. You will find the Scots are a friendly bunch who know how to have a good time, so will you on your wild weekend in Glasgow!
