Bourbon Tasting Experience
Whisky. Is there a more manly drink out there? This is definitely a stag do activity for the men, not the boys. So pour a toast to the lucky Stag in this fantastically sophisticated activity. Across your tasting you’ll be introduced to whisky, how it’s made, qualities to look for – and most importantly – how to taste it properly, something that you’ll get the chance to do again, and again… and again as you sample a range of whiskies. Even if you aren’t usually a huge fan of this delicious brown nectar, across your session you’ll learn to properly appreciate whisky. Along the way you’ll also pick up lots of tips and hints, so that when your stag is over, you still have plenty of knowledge to make you look sophisticated.
Whisky tasting is a great activity for a bunch of guys that may not know one another, maybe if they’re a blend of the stag’s friends, family and more. It’s an activity that promotes conversation, and as we all know, alcohol has a way of breaking down social barriers. Whisky tasting is a great warm up to a night of fun. It’s also a perfect way to make you feel like a sophisticated gent so that you’re fighting fit and ready to hit the town.
When in Scotland, it would be kind of rude not to enjoy a bit of fine whiskey wouldn’t it? After all, it is the country’s national drink, but how about mixing things up and enjoying a Bourbon tasting experience for a slice of the states in Glasgow? It’s a fun and sophisticated experience for you and your stags to get involved with, and also makes for a great ice breaker if there’s any guys in the group that you’re not familiar with.
We’ll send your group to a top venue, where you’ll get to enjoy an hour and a half session of bourbon tasting. First of all, you’ll meet an experience bourbon connoisseur who will be leading the session and will teach you and the guys how to tell the difference between straight, blended and aged bourbon whiskey, in addition to learning about the processing methods of the spirit. Up next is probably the best part – the tasting! You’ll each get to try a variety of different bourbon samples, and there’s blind tasting too which helps you really appreciate the different tastes. We’ll also throw in a free welcome cocktail to this session and equip you with one to round off the session too – we are good to you aren’t we?

What's Included:
Your group will learn the difference between a ‘straight’, ‘blended’, and ‘aged’ Bourbon under the tutorage of a Bourbon
connoisseur.
You will also learn the process and methods behind the spirit as well as receiving a minimum of four drinks each, which can come in the form of a blind taste, straight taste, long drink or cocktail.
