Zip World Velocity
Get ready for the ride of your life! A truly unique and exhilarating experience: the fastest zip line in the world since 2013! For the thrill seekers amongst you, this is not to be missed on your Snowdonia stag weekend. Situated in Bethesda, Zip World Velocity is the longest zip line to be found in the Northern Hemisphere, reaching speeds of up to and over 100mph.
Our friends at Zip World assure you that a lot goes into the operation to ensure that you can not only reach high speeds, but reach them safely. You'll ride side-by-side with your mates, up to 4 of you at once, strapped in a position reminiscent of super man as you speed over the Penrhyn Quarry lake, with a birds-eye of picturesque Snowdonia, the historic quarry, spectacular North Wales coastline and beyond.
Velocity has two pairs of zip lines, you’ll start with the ‘Little Zipper’, which acts as an introduction of sorts, a gateway zip line if you will. Mind you, it’ll still reach speeds of up to 45mph! This is a great confidence builder which will take you into the heart of the historic quarry where the off-road journey to The Big Zipper commences.

Maximum permitted user height is 2.1 metres (7 foot), minimum height is 120CM. Minimum weight is 30kg and the maximum weight is 120kg (can change due to weather conditions) The activity is not suitable for those that are pregnant. Due to the type of activity, this may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions e.g. heart condition, claustrophobia or epilepsy. Please let us know if any group member has any medical conditions as soon as possible.

Quarry Karts
Located at the iconic and world-renowned Zip World Penrhyn Quarry site, Quarry Karts is the UK’s only mountain cart experience, seeing gravity fuelled three-wheelers descend an obstacle-filled 3 kilometre slate track. It all begins with transportation up to the top in military trucks, with the start taking place 1,500 ft above sea level, so you'll be treated to incredible views ahead of an intimidating descent that lasts around 3-5 minutes.
The unique vehicles have a low centre of gravity and a wide wheelbase, making them extra-stable, with hydraulic, independent disc brakes that allow you to slide and drift round corners. Pushing your driving ability to the limit are a series of obstacles including tunnels, chicanes and banked corners, and you get two runs included in your booking – so you can learn the ropes on your first attempt.
This is the perfect addition to the Velocity Zip Wire which takes place at the same venue, for a day of maximum thrills on your Snowdonia stag weekend, and a lifetime of memories.

Zip World Titan
Some of Europe’s best zipwires await you on your stag do in Snowdonia and chances are if you're looking at Snowdonia for your destination, you're after an adventure. If the thought of reaching speeds of 100mph and above on the course of Zip World Velocity has given you the spooks, allow us to introduce you to her (slightly) more tame but equally exciting cousin, Zip World Titan.
This is an exhilarating tour and zip experience, containing 1 kilometre of four-person parallel zipping action, while adding an in-depth tour of this historic location.
Your day out begins with the tour, lasting around 45 minutes, as you climb on board the iconic former army trucks. Twisting and turning throughout Llechwedd slate quarry, you’ll travel up to an impressive height of 1,400 ft on the area’s incredible man-made mountains, while taking in the sights of the authentic, industrial landscape.
Then, what goes up, must come down! After exploring the area, you'll kit up and go through the safety bits before experiencing Europe's first four-person zip line, zipping in groups of 4 (get ready for some serious male bonding), reaching high speeds and enjoying breath-taking views of the mountains and beyond as you zip back down via 2 incredible zip wires.

Twisting and turning throughout Llechwedd slate quarry, you’ll travel up to an impressive height of 1,400 ft on the area’s incredible man-made mountains, while taking in the sights of the authentic, industrial landscape.
After exploring the area, you’ll kit up ready for your double zip line descent. Traveling over 1 kilometre with stunning views of the quarry below and Blaenau Ffestiniog with Snowdonia beyond, you’ll speed back down to earth in a seated position – all the better for enjoying those panoramic views.
