The Spanish Sin City, where everything you’ve heard is true (probably) and much more besides. This legendary (and notorious) resort on the west coast of Majorca promises sun, sangrias and stag party paradise, with an out-of-this-world nightlife scene, cheap booze and loads of daytime stag activities - if you can get off your sun loungers that is.
There’s some great package deal options available which you and the stags can take advantage of for your trip to Magaluf, including our ultimate bundle; The MVP Stag Package - with this glorious offering, you and your group of stags will get to enjoy an incredible booze cruise experience, indulge in a tasty meal as you watch a strip show and then get entry to Maga’s hottest nightclub with unlimited drinks thrown in! There’s also a meet and greet at the airport, in addition to return transfers and 2 nights’ accommodation. Another option is the popular Magaluf Babewatch package where you’ll get to see some of Spain’s most gorgeous women. This bundle includes a meet and greet, a trip to a seductive lap dancing club and dinner with a stripper, all complete with transfers and accommodation.
Amazing nightlife and unreal drink offers
A well-earned reputation as a party capital of Europe
Plenty to do in the day… if you have the stamina
With some destinations we think it's important to let you know that there are alternatives to just going out on the town. With Magaluf, what would be the point? Our stag groups come here for one reason: the lash up.
Magaluf is Balearic beast-mode, where there’s no such thing as a ‘quiet night in’ and where if you come home flat-broke, with a dodgy tattoo and a month-long hangover, you got off lightly. Read our ultimate guide to Magaluf stag do’s for more.
It’s just over two hours from London to Palma Mallorca Airport, the closest airport to Magaluf. If you don’t see at least one inflatable beach ball making its way over the seats during that time, check you’re on the right flight.
From the airport to Magaluf it’s five miles. The cheapest way into the resort is by bus, about six Euros, but it takes close to an hour. Definitely the best way, and the one that most of our groups choose, is by private transfer - no waiting around, and direct to your Magaluf stag hotel - which we’ll be happy to arrange for you.
In Magaluf itself you probably won’t need to do much more than walk around between bars or the beach, though taxis aren’t expensive if you do need one. Be really careful by road at night, because it’s not uncommon for car accidents to happen, and if your group is hiring a car while in Magaluf we’d suggest not driving around the centre at night.
As for your Magaluf stag activities - let us make things safe, simple and stress-free for you by booking convenient door-to-door transfers. You just need to be ready on time and we’ll do the rest, so the whole group can relax and enjoy a few drinks whenever you want.
‘Shagaluf’ is the poster-child of bad behaviour. For many years it was rarely out of the tabloids, and it’s been the subject of many a trashy documentary series showcasing the unbridled debauchery that goes on when you mix crowds of young British tourists with cheap, cheap drinks and sunny weather. And dontcha just love it?
If you’re looking for a Spanish stag do where it’s one happy hour after another, where you can go to a different foam party every night, where the party boat cruises finish up at a club, and where you’ll feel at home the moment you set foot on the Strip… then welcome to Magaluf.
We’ll get to the nightlife below. For now, let’s talk about some of our favourite stag experiences in Magaluf. And bear in mind that our stag planners will create an itinerary that’s realistic - we know you’ll be fending off hangovers for a lot of the day, and we also know exactly what stag groups are looking for in Magaluf, so we’ll make sure everything works perfectly.
As you’d probably expect, most of the top stag do activities in Magaluf focus either on the coast. Party Boat Cruises here are cray-cray, with swim stops often included to cool off, and then finishing up in one of the resort’s top bars or clubs. A lot of our groups like to escape the madness to the day and head to a stylish private Beach Club, where they can relax on day beds, make use of the pool, and enjoy some Balearic beats while recharging for the night ahead. Opt for our gold package at Ocean Beach for your own VIP area with drinks and food included.
There are lots of stylish boat trips in Magaluf too that aren’t all about the drinking. Majorca has loads of beautiful beaches, most of them nowhere near as busy as Magaluf’s, so you can head out on a catamaran cruise to find a stunner. Other activities you can try here include coasteering, an action-packed watersport where you’re jumping off rocks into the sea, and even hot air balloon flights if you’ve got the cash to splash.
Banana boating and other watersports are brilliant in Magaluf. We also recommend a day at the Western Water Park just outside the resort. There’s a free shuttle service Monday to Friday, and you and the boys can enjoy a massive range of adrenaline rides ‘n’ slides guaranteed to leave you feeling refreshed. Another watersport that’s very popular here is the swim out to Black Lizard Island, 400 metres off the beach. It’s considered a rite of passage, but obviously don’t try it if you’re pissed or not a very good swimmer. Last thing you want is everyone on the beach watching while you get hauled into the lifeboat.
We often say that Magaluf is where you come when you want the hedonism of Ibiza without the price tag, but actually Magaluf has plenty of character all its own. And the nightlife here needs little introduction, as it’s often featured negatively in the British press. But not every stag group needs to appear in some trashy reality show about overworked Spanish coppers and paramedics, and 99% of stag groups come back from Magaluf having had an amazing time without being ripped off or someone breaking their leg falling off a scooter. Our friendly Magaluf stag planners are here to help you organise a weekend to remember, and they’re full of expert advice on how to do it safely as well.
All of the action in Magaluf focuses on the resort’s two main nightlife areas: Magaluf Square and the Strip (Punta Ballena). The Square is a massive party zone, a fantastic place to start your night off, with a huge terraced area with big screens showing live sports during the daytime. Many of the resort’s most popular bars including Peaky Blinders and Coyote Ugly can be found right here, and you’re moments from the immense BCM Club.
Half a mile long, and home to more than 50 bars, five clubs and many fast food joints, the Strip is two minutes from Magaluf Square. In this area you’ll find Magaluf legends like the Eastenders karaoke bar, Crystals, Panama Jacks, Alex’s RnB Bar and Lineker’s. The atmosphere is always wild and you can find something to suit you whatever kind of mood your group is in. For your first night in town, our Private Bar Crawls are a great idea to figure out where’s hot and where’s not, with beers and shots waiting for you in every venue and an attractive lady guide or two showing you round.
And of course, if you’ve got the nuts for it, the Magaluf Bungee Ball is right there waiting, next to another ride popularly known as the ‘Vomatron’, and you don’t need three guesses to work out why that is. The perfect pre-wedding gift for the groom? We’ll let you decide that.
Is Magaluf good for a stag do?
Magaluf has long been a favourite Spain stag do destination for Brits looking for sun, sand and stupidly good drink promotions. But while the resort’s notorious reputation is well-earned, keep in mind that many of the stories you’ll have heard are filtered through the tabloid press which doesn’t exactly enjoy the most positive reputation either. If you’re looking for a stag weekend in a full-on party place, with gorgeous beaches for the daytime and an incredible nightlife scene for the evening, then Magaluf will fit the bill.
When to visit Magaluf for a sunny beach stag do?
The best time to visit Magaluf for a sunny beach stag do is between June and late August, the peak summer season, with temperatures averaging around 30°C. You can expect amazing weather perfect for chilling around the pool at a beach club, watersports, and sunset boat parties. But stay hydrated, don’t get sunburnt and look after your mates, especially when you’re day-drinking. The resort pretty much shuts down between October and March, so if you're after winter sun, don’t plan a Magaluf stag do.
What are the best Magaluf stag activity ideas?
Our most popular stag activities in Magaluf include Party Boat Cruises, a day at a Waterpark, and a day in a luxurious Beach Club. Pre-midday activities, they’re not really a thing in Magaluf, when most groups are either asleep, or still out partying. But your afternoons? They can be epic, thanks to our expert Magaluf stag planners. Talk to them to see what’s available that suits your group’s interests and budget, or for inspiration on the best Magaluf stag experiences right now.
Where is the best nightlife in Magaluf?
The nightlife in Magaluf is concentrated on the Strip (Punta Balena). There are 50-odd bars along the Strip, half-a-dozen clubs, and all the fast food joints you’ll need to soak up the cheap booze. It is paradise for those who love a drinks deal, and there will be no shortage of promotions teams trying to pull you into their bar - you can afford to be choosy. Our Ultimate Private Bar Crawl is a great way to get your bearings when you first arrive in Magaluf. Spend an evening being shown around the Strip’s top nightspots, with drinks at every venue, keeping you going until the early hours of the morning.
Is Magaluf cheap for stag do’s?
Magaluf is a brilliant destination for a boozy stag do, with happy hours and drinks promotions all over the place. Compared with Ibiza, it’s a lot cheaper, and still a massive night out. In the daytimes there are a lot of great stag do activities to try in Magaluf from watersports to paintballing and booze cruises, which are broadly priced about what you’d pay elsewhere in Spain.
